In making ‘chain of thought’, a three metre graduated chain weighing 1.4 kilo’s fine silver, I attempt to depict labour.
An unending gesture towards the incomplete. I wanted to know how big I could go, and how small I could go, all within the limits of the hand made.
The detail in things. The act of making. Form through rhythm and repetition. The hand made. This is the inspiration for my work.
